The Peanuts Tattoo Page

Fans celebrate their devotion to Peanuts in all sorts of ways ... some of them more permanent than others! If you've got a Peanuts tattoo, send along a scanned image with your first name, and we'll display it here.
(And please ... let's keep it clean; this is a family-friendly site!)

Connie 1 Connie 2

Connie obviously loves our favorite characters, and has two tats to prove it. She reports that she couldn't wait to get the one at right, and we can see why; it's quite impressive!

Valerie 1 Valerie 2

Valerie always wanted to have a tattoo, and decided to combine her love of Charles Schulz's characters and Tom Everhart's amazing work. We'll let her discuss her two tats in her own words:

"The first one -- 'Sniff,' with Snoopy and Charlie Brown with their heads together -- is on my left inner arm. I got this tattoo in remembrance of my beagle Snoopy, who passed away. We would always do this head 'mind meld' whenever I got home from work. It was a ritual, and once I saw this Everhart painting I wanted it.Since I couldn't afford the painting, I thought a tattoo would be the next best thing. The tattoo artist did a really good job in making it look like a painting. I'm very pleased with it.

"The second one -- the 'Mon Ami'-inspired tattoo, on my right calf -- speaks volumes to any Peanuts lover: Charlie Brown and Snoopy sitting together as best friends, quietly looking off into the distance, reflecting on whatever is on their minds. I love this tattoo and get a lot of compliments on it."

Kim got this tat in order to represent a shared fondness for Snoopy and motorcycles. And of course we know that Snoopy has had plenty of practice on such a bike, thanks to his persona as Joe Motocross!

Kim's tattoo

Andy couldn't wait to share this tat with us, and no wonder: The world always has room for another Snoopy fan!

Andy's tattoo

Marc is a man of few words, telling us simply that he "loves Snoopy and Woodstock forever." An admirable sentiment!

Marcus' tattoo

Carrie drew this picture to represent how Snoopy has been a constant in her life. As a little girl, she received a Snoopy blanket for her first bed when she was 3. To this day, she still has that blanket!! The word DREAMS has the letters of her three girls' initials, rearranged. Now, as a tattoo, Carrie will always have a reminder of the impact that Snoopy and Charles Schulz have had on her life. That's the sort of reminder we like, Carrie!

Carrie's tattoo

Laura has loved Charlie Brown, Snoopy and Woodstock most of her life, and she also loves tattoos ... so this is the result. Right on, Laura; that's the best possible reason!

Laura's tattoo

Jim and his girlfriend Shannon are both big Peanuts fans, and she always says he's her "Li'l Woodstock" (because, as Jim admits, he's a bit short and has spikey hair). In return, he calls her Snoopy, because she has the same personality as the world-famous beagle: mischievous and imaginative. So, as a tribute to them both, Jim had this tat added to his right bicep. That's what we like to hear, Jim: Let love lead the way!

Jim's tattoo

Bobby got this great tat of a vintage early 1950s Charlie Brown, complete with his favorite shirt and even more famous lament. Thanks for adding a bit of the old school, Bobby!

Bobby's tattoo

Kristie has been a huge Snoopy fan for most of her life. After having recently made the trip from Australia to visit the Charles M. Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa, she celebrated her 25th birthday by getting a small Snoopy tattooed on the inside of her left wrist. That's our sort of birthday celebration, Kristie!

Kristie's tattoo

Shawn has been a fan of Snoopy's WWI Flying Ace and the Red Baron all his life. "Ain't this cool?" he asks. You bet it is, Shawn!

Shawn's tattoo

Ryan got this tattoo featuring Snoopy "doing his WWI Flying Ace bit" because his father is a huge fan of the Peanuts gang and avation, so he grew up with this character as a central part of his life. Ryan, we can't think of a better way to honor your dad!

Ryan's tattoo

Midori loves this website, and has been a Peanuts fanatic since she was 5. She has wanted a Woodstock tattoo since she understood what tattoos were. Thanks for the kind words, Midori!

Midori's tattoo

Haleigh admits that Peppermint Patty always has been her favorite character, because "we were one and the same: an outspoken strawberry blond tomboy with freckles, who always wears sandals." She may put Woodstock up in the tree eventually. Be sure to share the results when you do, Haleigh!

Haleigh's tattoo

Michael tells us that Linus is his hero. He wanted his tat to be a band of some sort, but with additional content; he's happy with the result ... and so are we!

Michael's tattoo

Rod is a firefighter/paramedic in Sylvania, Ohio. The original drawing is from the Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Fire Department, and is the logo of Station 18. Rod had it modified into a tribute to his son, Michael. We'll let Rob tell the rest of the story in his own words: "Eleven years ago, my son Michael fell in our swimming pool. He had a pretty bad brain injury from being underwater for so long. I have been wanting to get a tribute to him for a long time, and finally found the picture of Snoopy that was perfect. My artist gave Snoopy the rest of his body and if you notice, Snoopy is blasting Woodstock out of the air with his hose line. This is to symbolize the playfulness that I'm sure Michael and I would have had. Finally, the EKG strip under the pic is Michael's actual heart rhythm taken at the hospital earlier this week, when he was in with a bad seizure."

Rod's's tattoo

Katrena tells us that she got this tat on her left arm, and it's the beginning of a beautiful half-sleeve that she'll eventually do with all the Peanuts characters. Woodstock is definitely her favorite, though, so she plans on having lots of different Woodstocks on her arm. You go, girl!

Katrena's tattoo

The first book Kyle read by himself, when he was 6, was a large collection of Peanuts comics. He's been a fan ever since. This is his Snoopy pirate tattoo ... and he tells us that he has the T-shirt to match!

Kyle's tattoo

Kyle's still going!

But wait ... Kyle wasn't through yet! In his own words, "I've gotten another one, and I thought I'd share the process of the tattooing. It's another take on the WWI Flying Ace. I took several screen captures of the dogfight scene in It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, to put it together. I have always liked this scene. His Sopwith Camel is all shot up, but his paws are still at the controls!"

Emily has a cute story to go along with her artwork here, so we'll let her tell it: "I don't have any real tattoos because my mom would basically disown me, but I draw ones on myself with Sharpies, and they last a few days. Does this count?" Well, Emily, sure ... but only because you did such a nice job!

Emily's sorta-kinda tattoo

Shannon also stumbled onto our site and decided to share her lovely piece of work. Definitely one of the classic sweet poses!

Shannon's tattoo

John stumbled onto our site and just had to share this lovely piece of work. Very nice tat, John!

John's tattoo

This is one of Justin's two Peanuts tattoos. He's eventually planning to get an entire "Peanuts sleeve." Do get back to us when it's all finished, Justin!

Justin's tattoo

Wendy 1 Wendy 2

Wendy first got in touch with the tat above left. Isn't it adorable? She searched for "just the right picture" and eventually found this punk Snoopy. "I even got to choose the hair color," she said, at the time. "I'm looking to get a Snoopy triathlon trio at some point, when I find the right pictures." She has gotten closer to her goal, having recently added No. 2. "This one was chosen with long-distance racing on my triathlon bike in mind," she reports. "I wanted something I could see that would lift my spirits, and this really fits the bill." She's still insisting that more eventually will come. We can't wait!

Nancy got her tattoo in September 2005, after thinking about it for at least five years. It's on her right shoulder blade and only appears in public on special occasions. (And don't tell her mother!)

Nancy S's tattoo

Is this a masterpiece, or what? Sharon had this work of art placed on one ankle. That's what we call leading with the right foot!

Sharon R's tattoo

Galen loves Snoopy: "He has been a part of me, all of my life, and now he'll be with me forever!" We couldn't have said it better, Galen!

Galen's tattoo

Glenzell's first leg

Glenzell's other leg

Glenzell, a big Peanuts fan since the age of 6, started on this impressive collection of tats in October 2008 and completed them in January 2009. Look closely, and you'll find 15 all told: Sally, Linus, Peppermint Patty, Marcie, Franklin, Frieda, Spike and Violet on the left leg; and Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Woodstock, Lucy, Schoreder, Rerun and Pig Pen on the right!

Louise just got her first tattoo, and she "just had to make it a Snoopy one! Here we have vintage Snoopy and Woodstock and classic Snoopy and Woodstock. Hope you like them!!" We do, Louise ... we do!

Louise's tattoo

We had to run this one large, in order to appreciate its full glory. Tara has this tat adapted from a scene in the Easter Beagle Peanuts TV special; she reports that it took four hours, and the finished "canvas" is roughly 12 inches high and 10 inches wide, on her left thigh. The scene began awhile ago, with a simple tat of Woodstock ... but Tara decided that he looked "lonely," and had the rest of this scene built around him. Nice job!

Tara's tattoo

This one also had to run large. Is this sensational, or what? Marc has been hooked on Peanuts for as long as he can remember, and has an entire room in his house dedicated to his collection. He started with just the Woodstock tattoo about 20 years ago, and added all the rest much more recently (and had Woodstock redone). He claims more is to come ... we can't wait!

Marc's tattoo

This is Molly's first tattoo. As she describes it, "It's a picture of an injured Woodstock (wearing a leg cast and football helmet) and Snoopy putting his arms out to comfort him. I got this tattoo to remind me that even when you are hurt or if things seem bad, there is always a good friend to be there for you." Words to live by!

Molly's tattoo

Joseph 2 Joseph 1

Joseph has been a Snoopy fan since he was young, when his parents dressed him in Snoopy clothes and showered him with Snoopy toys. He's an adult now, but still a Snoopy fan, as this wrap-around tattoo clearly demonstrates. When he starts having children, he plans to add a Woodstock for each kid!

Ceri plays pool for Wales, which is why (we're told) Snoopy is dressed as he appears here. May all your shots be great ones, Ceri!

Ceri's tattoo

Cecile 1 Cecile 2

Cecile, who lives in France, has been a Snoopy fan since she was 12. She had this elaborate tattoo put on her right ankle ... or, rather, all the way around her right ankle!

Eddie 1 Eddie 2

Are these beautiful, or what? Quite a lot of work went into Eddie's tattoos, and he's justifiably proud of them. The smaller Charlie Brown tattoo also brings him comfort, because Eddie can "relate to everything Charlie Brown goes through." So can we all!

Pat 1 Pat 2 Pat 3

Pat 4 Pat 5 Pat 6

Pat has quite a few Peanuts tattoos, done by several different artists. Frequent visitors to this site will notice that he recently added a Spike to the first tat: a gift from his kids for Fathers Day 2008. And check out Snoopy as a rock star! We no sooner added Pat's Fathers Day tat, than he forwarded image No. 5 ... and it soon was followed by No. 6! It's nice to see a fan who has maintained his interest over the years ... and in such a highly visible way!

Roberto lives in Rosarito, Baja California, and has been a Peanuts fan since he was 5 years old. He's 23 now, and always liked tattoos and wanted to have one, but couldn't find one that said "forever" to him until he found our Web page. Then he knew that he and Peanuts would be together forever. He got some pretty cool ideas from the site, and went with a classic: Charlie Brown trying to kick the football. It's his first tattoo, but not his last ... he's thinking of adding Snoopy soon. So how about that ... this site has been inspirational!

Roberto's tattoo

Sarina got this Snoopy tattoo on her right shoulder in 2006. He's wearing a do rag because she wears one all the time. And Joe Cool is her fave!

Sarina's tattoo

Jordan tells us that "...this scene was too cute to pass up, especially with the lovely woman in my life being as obsessed with Woodstock as I am. Bless this nest!" And bless you for sharing, Jordan!

Jordan's tattoo

Jeff sent us this picture of his wife Heather's Snoopy tattoo (her first, he was quick to mention). Great way to start!

Heather's tattoo

Shawn, Jason and Matt

From left, Shawn, Jason and Matt call themselves "good friends forever," and have sealed the deal with identical Woodstock tattoos. Our kind of friends!

Brent got this tattoo on his left leg because his mother always called him Charlie Brown, and it was a way of keeping her close. (Okay, that may be the sweetest gesture we've ever encountered...)

Brent's tattoo

Chris 1 Chris 2

Chris, a Peanuts fan since birth, thinks the strip's message is timeless. When we received the first tat, at left, we were told that Schroeder and Lucy would follow soon, to "round off the leg." Looks like Chris knows how to keep a promise! (The new additions did, however, wind up on the same leg.)

Chris 3 Chris 4 Chris 5

But it didn't stop there! Not too many months later, Chris added Pig Pen, Woodstock and Sally. We're told that "this is it" for characters ... but that "scenery is a possibility" in the future! That's our kind of dedication!

Chris 6 Chris 7 Chris 8

And, apparently, the future has arrived ... because Chris made good on that promise of scenery!

Paul has been a Peanuts fan all his life. Isn't this one gorgeous?

Paul's tattoo

Russ 1 Russ 2

Russell, from Illinois, has been an avid Peanuts fan his entire life. He has two Peanuts tattoos -- so far! -- and hopes to get many, many more. Charlie Brown is on his left forearm, while Joe Cool and Woodstock are on his right upper arm.

Terri, from Arkansas, has been a Snoopy fan since birth. She got this tattoo just above her ankle as a birthday present for herself six years ago, and she loves it. She plans to get other characters as well!

Terri's tattoo

Thales 1 Thales 2

Brazilian fan Thales lives in the city of Cuiabá, in the state of Mato Grosso. His favorite character is Linus ... but apparently Thales has room in his heart for a few others, as well!

William got a genuinely stirring one: He combined the scene used for the bronze statue and our flag, to symbolize the watching over of our loved ones. Charles Schulz himself would have been proud!

William's tattoo

Theresa tells us that she recently got this tat on her birthday. She chose it bacause her nephew, who is 1 year old, carries his stuffed Snoopy everywhere he goes. When he was even younger, everybody in the family said that he had dark eyes like Snoopy. So, this seemed like a perfect present for Theresa to give herself.

Theresa's tattoo

Not too long ago, Selma sent us a photo of her first Peanuts tattoo: a cute little Woodstock on her back. We'll let her explain what happened next: "I started thinking, Woodstock is kinda lonely up there, yet I was having trouble figuring how to put Snoopy with him. So here's what I came up with. This may be the first Peanuts full-back piece!" VERY impressive, Selma!

Selma's tattoo

Brent got this tattoo on his birthday in June 2005; it's on his right bicep. He's a graphic designer, and had been wanting a tattoo for a while, but couldn't think of anything he would draw himself that he'd want on his body permanently. So he went with one of his early artistic inspirations, Charlie Brown. He had Peanuts sheets when he was little, and used to wake up early and practice drawing the whole gang. But he wanted to design some aspect of the tattoo, so he had the idea to overlap a "happy Chuck" and "angry Chuck" in red and green ... where they cross over in black. This symbolizes the fact that Brent is a Gemini (or two-faced, depending on who gets asked!).

Brent's tattoo

Kevin tells us that he got his Charlie Brown tattoo in August 1998, on his right calf. He loves both baseball and Chuck, so this was the right one for him. "I wanted to get the entire Peanuts crew in their baseball uniforms," he added, "but I met my wife soon after, and she is not a big fan of tattoos!"

Kevin's tattoo

Rachael's tattoo

Rachael sent us this cute shot ... and we love the Snoopy shorts beneath the tattoo!

Jess tells us that this tat is from a cartoon in Nice Shot, Snoopy!

Jess' tattoo

Nichole has her Snoopy tattoo on her stomach, and she'll soon be adding Woodstock and all his friends. (She also wants us to know that she got it done at Renaissance Tattoo in Woonsockett, Rhode Island.)

Nichole's tattoo

We'll let Steve tell his story in his own words... "Last year, after I was cast as Linus in a production of Snoopy - The Musical, I started doing my research and reading more and more about the Peanuts characters and the strip itself. I discovered that Linus and I are pretty much one and the same, except I am a few years older! One of my Google searches brought me to this site. I stumbled upon the Tattoo gallery page and it immediately hit me that I had found the subject for a tattoo that I had been looking for! So, after doing some searching for the perfect Linus for me, I found him ... and he is now permanently on my left calf."

Steve's tattoo

Debi likes Snoopy and Woodstock ... can you tell?

Debi's tattoo

John tells us that he's a huge Charlie Brown fan (and he obviously likes baseball, too!)

Mary wanted us to know that this is her first tattoo!

Mary's tattoo

Michele 1 Michele 2 Michele 3 Michele 4

Michele, in Washington, has eight tattoos on her right ankle. She has been a major fan for more than 35 years ... as if we didn't already know that!

Lisa 1 Lisa 2 Lisa 3 Lisa 4

Lisa and her husband Herb, in New York, each have two Snoopy tattoos!

Rob has been a Peanuts fan for about 30 years, since the fourth grade.

Rob's tattoo

Pam is a "big Snoopy nut," and Joe Cool is her favorite Snoopy personna. She's a musician, and that's why Snoopy and Woodstock are sitting on musical notes!

Pam's tattoo

Patti 1 Patti 2 Patti 3

Patti 4 Patti 5

Patti, in Rhode Island, has five Snoopy tattoos. The one of Snoopy playing hockey is for her husband and oldest daughter, who both play hockey. Patti's hockey-playing daughter designed the heart tattoo, and gave it to her mother as a Mothers Day present. Way to go, Patti!

Den loves hockey and Snoopy, so what could be better than having Joe Cool as a New Jersey Devil or Chicago Blackhawk, perched on the right shoulder?

Den's tattoo

Jessica loves Pig Pen (which is her nickname). She had this tattoo done during the summer of 2002.

Jessica's tattoo

Tina likes Snoopy and Woodstock ... and all of Woodstock's little buddies.

Hope has a fondness for Baby Snoopy. (She begs forgiveness for the slightly blurry photo; it's hard to get a close-up!)

Hope's tattoo

Carri got this tattoo just above her ankle last winter, and she plans for Snoopy to join Woodstock on the inside of her ankle, when she finds the perfect pose. She adds, "I bet you didn't know that Woodstock has freckles!"

Jan loves Snoopy and hugs ... so of course her Snoopy tattoo is giving a red heart a great big hug!
